The former President of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor EHL Olusheye is dead.
He died on Tuesday after a brief illness at age 83.
The cleric, who became President of the Church in 1997 after his elevation from the office of General Superintendent, brought tremendous developments to the first indigenous Pentecostal Church in Africa.
Among his many laudable achievements are, the establishment of Sunday School Department for the whole C. A. C. before becoming the President, the greater financial stability he brought to the central administration of the Church; the unparalleled physical developments of the Babalola International Miracle Camp, Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State.
The establishment of modern, reputable tertiary educational institution, the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) also at Ikeji Arakeji and, Construction of an ultramordern worship centre called All Saints Chapel at the National Secretariat at Bashorun, Ibadan and the invigoration of the Church’s Theological Seminary which campus he has increased to 13, spread all over the country and the Republic of Benin while upgrading same to degree-awarding institution.
