A renown Pastor in Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide , Pastor Akinpelumi I. D.O has urged youths in the nooks and crannies of the country to be holy, saying that holiness is the key to God's presence.
Pastor Akinpelu said this while delivering the first lecture at the ongoing CAC 24th Annual Youth Conference (Ikeji III) at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
He noted that holiness is an attribute or character of God and it is the most important subject in the Bible.
Pastor Akinpelu said that holiness occupies an important place in the heart of God and in His plans and dealing with people and the world.
Holiness, according to him affect all aspects of our lives, adding that it covers and reflects in someone's speech, dressing, appearance, job, relationship with the opposite sex and faithfulness in money matters among others.
"Satan is seriously fighting against holiness in the lives of God's people because of its importance to God. The greatest satanic battle against God's people and the church today is the battle against holiness. Satan wants to corrupt, pollute and defile Christians, churches and God's ministers with sins of various sorts. He is seriously doing this through every possible means. We can pray, sing, give offerings, have faith, attend church programmes etc, but are we holy? " he said.
He noted that many people do not value purity any longer, saying that they see it as hard, difficult and not to be embraced.
He further stated that, "holy people and preachers are mocked and reproached. They are labelled as 'old schools', 'conservative' etc. and this makes it more difficult for people to walk in holiness."
He however said, God still demands for holiness from all who will follow and serve him.
