Live performance of Pastor Tope Dada's musical works holds today

The Choir of Christ Apostolic Church, New Covenant, Iju Ishaga Lagos will today Sunday 26th November 2017 holds live performance of Pastor Tope Dada’s musical works.



The programme which will hold at the church auditorium, 1-3, Awojoodu close, off Akinsanya street, Balogun bus-stop, Iju Ishaga Lagos will starts by 4pm to 8pm. Guests are expected to be seated by 3:45pm.



Pastor Tope Dada is the Music Director, CAC Worldwide and senior Pastor, CAC New Covenant Assembly. He pioneered CAC Pastors' choir in 1995 and led a 5000 member choir during the CAC Millennium revival in the year 2000 (the largest to be recorded at that time).



The musical works is a compilation of songs covering over 4 decades of music ministry of Pastor Tope Dada.
CAC New Covenant choir will be presenting all the songs in the book "The Timeless Gospel Choral Anthems" by Tope Dada and 'Deola Amudipe. The book is a 127 paged musical work
Pastor Deola Amudipe
Pastor deola Amudipe is a veteran organist and highly creative musician.


All of the songs were compiled and mostly arranged by Pastor 'Deola Amudipe, a protégé of Pastor Tope Dada for over 30 years.


In an exclusive interview with CAC NEWS, Pastor Dada said that he feels elated and proud that the live performance of his musical works will be done today.


He stated further that; "they didn’t tell me about it. I got to know about it when they were publishing the book. This has been done for ‘white people’ in the past. My music works they are performing is even more than what has been done for some ‘white men.’ The booklet has about 127 pages. It consists of 25 songs covering 127pages. I am very elated that they are doing this when I am alive. It is a thing of pride. I must appreciate my children. I must appreciate Pastor Deola Amudipe for working on me that we should put the songs in a readable form. He published the book. Without publishing it will just die a natural dead. I have more than 1000 songs and I don’t see how we can publish everything. I must also commend my son, Tolu Tope Dada for leading the choir of the church to do this work. They had sleepless night doing this work. Everybody who comes on that day will enjoy themselves."
