The renowned Evangelist, Prophet S.K Abiara has stated that he would have resigned while in office as the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide had it been situation warrants it for the unification of the church.
Prophet Abiara said this at the third Unity Prayer of CAC Factions held at Ayo Babalola International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state.
He said that CAC is God's owned church, it belongs to anyone and that is why the power of darkness cannot overcome the church.
He urged the leaders of both factions not to let their interest hinder the unification of the church.
Prophet Abiara said that God told him that everything the authorities of both factions have been doing before was outside the scripture and it is time to go back to the scripture.
Like the first and second prayer meetings, the Unity Prayer was attended by leaders of both factions. Although, the President of the Supreme Council, Pastor Gabriel Lagunju was not in attendance, but he was represented by their General Superintendent, Pastor J.A Adeoloye.
Now that all the Unity Prayer meetings have done according to the directive of God, it is expected that the Presidents of both factions will meet to finalise the unification which would bring an end to the 27years crisis.
