The Music Director of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada has advised all choirs in the Church to be holy and engage themselves in fervent prayers.
Pastor Dada who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with CAC NEWS said at every rehearsal, the choristers should be made to have the knowledge of the word of God.
"I will firstly say that all our choir masters must be born again. They must give their lives to Christ and engage themselves in prayers. Holiness and prayers are very important. The members of the choir should follow-suit.
"The choirs need to set aside days they will be asking for the Holy Spirit. At every rehearsal, we should let the members of the choir have the knowledge of the word of God. They should know what it entails to be members of the choir and the demand of a minister."
"As a choir member you are a minister. There are demands and ethics of a minister. The ethics of a minister either you are a Pastor preaching the word or you are ministering in songs is the same."
"If there is anybody who will not do it right he/she can be excused and be put under surveillance. Prayer, raw word of God, counseling and discipline are very important and they should be applied."
