The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Sam Gbuyiro was the guest minister as CACYOF, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) chapter held her induction service yesterday Sunday 21st January, 2018.
Pastor Gbuyiro inducted 42 new set of executives that will pilot the affairs of the fellowship for the next academic session.
While preaching on the theme 'The Elect,' Pastor Gbuyiro stated that the Elect is applied to those who have been saved through faith in Christ Jesus (Eph. 1:4).
The concept of election according to him is about God's own decision meeting your own acceptance, stating that spiritually you don't exist until you are born again.
He added; "When a child is born, immediately the mother heard the voice of the child, the pain is gone. A child exist the day he or she is born."
The Cleric said that election and salvation is not by work, but by grace and the elects are charged with responsibility.
He noted that every election is for a purpose, emphasising that the real meaning of your life is to discover a purpose for your life.
While speaking on 'how to make your election sure', Pastor Gbuyiro said;" you must live a life style of holiness and purity. You
must live a life of constant growth, that is making your life a mobile investment. Be hungry for knowledge and open yourself to opportunity."
He further urged the new executives to live a life style of service that results into faithfulness, adding that if they can't serve, they can't lead.
According to him, a leader is recognized by service and every Christian supposed to be a labourer.
