Arrangements are in top gear for the first Pentecostal church in Africa, Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide to celebrate the 100years anniversary of the church in grade style.
The General Secretary of CAC Worldwide, Pastor E.E Mapur made this disclosure yesterday at the ongoing General Council Meeting of the church at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state.
He said that the theme of the Centenary celebration is “100 years of walking with God.”
According to Pastor Mupar, activities lined up to mark the 100th anniversary are as follows;
October 29th-November 3rd (Assembly Celebration)
November 5-10 (DCC/Zonal Celebration)
November 12-17 (Regional Celebration)
November 21-24 (National Grand Finale)
The Cleric noted that from November 21-23 there will be great revival to be conducted by the General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji and other prominent men of God at Obafemi Awolowo (Liberty) stadium, Ibadan, Oyo state.
He added that the grand finale will hold at the same venue.
“DCC and Zonal Superintendent are to ensure that each District is represented by at least ten official delegates at the grand finale. The Music Director of CAC Worldwide will contact each District, Zone and DCC for number of choir delegates for each of the event. Each District, Zone and DCC should set up a local organizing committee to plan for the programme at local level,” he said.
He further stated that customized Ankara outfit shall be provided at an affordable price for all ministers and laities.
