...set up 10 subcommittees

In order to plan adequately for the maiden edition of the Music Ministers Conference, the Music Department of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide has inaugurated a 52 members committee.
The inauguration took place yesterday 18th April, 2018 at General Secretariat of the mission in Ibadan.
The Choir Master of CAC Yaba Districts Coordinator Council (DCC) headquarters, Elder Sesan Taiwo was appointed the Chairman of the committee, while Elder Michael Olufemi is the General Secretary.

The committee were broken into 10 subcommittees which are
Accommodation headed by Pastor S.A Adesoji, Welfare (Pastor Popoola), Program planning,Registration ( Brother Tolu-tope Dada), Finance (Elder Olonisaye), Publicity and ICT (Lekan Oluyelu and Protocol & Security (Pastor Kunle Magbagbeola)
Others are Logistics committee (Pastor Sam Oladele), Medical (Dr. Tosin Akinpelu) and Technical&Media (Pastor Joh Adegbotoluwa).
It must be noted that the conference cut across Choirs of all the departments or units in the church. For example, the Choir Coordinator of Ikeji III Pastors' conference, Pastor S.E.A Oludare was in attendance and also a member of the committee. The youth department are also very involved.
CAC NEWS gathered that the Music Ministers Conference which has been approved by the authority of the church will start on the 20th and end on the 25th of August, 2018 in Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

The Music Director of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada while delivering his welcome address said that the committee is saddled with the responsibilities of designing a working tool format for proper music conference that will embrace participants from among other choirmasters, organists, musicians, seminarians, worship leaders and clergy across all the regions.
He continued that the committee is to design an appropriate budget and sourcing for finance, general arrangement for venue, lodging, feeding and effective mobilization of participants for the conference.
The Music Director further explained that; " the committee will plan for conference and logistics, venue, lodging, online registration, detailed activities and live streaming of the conference. They will also suggest topics, draw program, recommend and source for resource person, schedules and appropriate renumeration."
He disclosed that during the course of the conference, there will be a concert (talent source) night in collaboration with the office of the General Evangelist in which the winner will go home with a brand new car.

While delivering his acceptance speech, the Chairman of the committee, Elder Taiwo said he was highly overwhelmed.
He appreciated everyone for their presence, zeal and dedication for the work.
The inauguration meeting was well attended by delegates of different regions, including Medayese region, Abuja precisely.
