The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide under the leadership of Pastor Abraham Akinosun has upgraded Ebute-Metta Zone to District Coordinating Council (DCC).
The General Secretary of CAC Worldwide, Pastor E.E Mapur stated in a letter that; "I am directed to inform you that the church authority has approved your request for upgrading to a DCC status dated March 31, 2018."
"In view of the above, your record in 2017 Seed of Blessing fund performance in which you raised a sum of N1, 896,400, a three year provisional approval is hereby granted to you to operate as a DCC. The figure for 2017 Seed of Blessing fund contribution is a minimum base for further rating."
"Furthermore, you shall operate under your own DCC Superintendent DCC with immediate effect. You shall be dealing directly with the General Secretariat, Ibadan. Congratulations."
"Your progressive performances in subsequent years will be a conviction of your ability to sustain a DCC. Each of the Districts in the DCC is expected to live up to expectations. The Authority reserve the right to withdraw the approval status at anytime."
The Superintendent of the new Ebute-Metta DCC, Pastor Gbenga Adelusi in his reaction to the good news on his Facebook page stated that;"Glory be to God in the highest! The CAC Authorities have approved CAC Ebute Metta Zone to operate as a DCC in Christ Apostolic Church with immediate effect. We appreciate the Authorities of the Church for their magnanimity and we congratulate all members of the new DCC. May the Lord give us the grace to perform up to expectation in Jesus name."
