Christ Apostolic Church, Idimu Districts Coordinator Council (DCC) Idimu Lagos on Sunday 20th of May, 2018 held a mega departmental anniversary.
The anniversary was for all the departments in the DCC which include the Choir, Usher, Good Women, CACMA, Sunday School and Youth among others. It was indeed a colour ceremony and epitome of God's presence.
While ministering at the anniversary on the theme "Love in Action," the Superintendent, Idimu DCC, Pastor Elijah Ojoborun urges Christians to reciprocate the love of God for each other
He said that the mercy of God is redemptive, it saved us through the love He has for us; from temptation, lake of fire and the den of lion.
According to him, he created us in His image and ask us to dominate on everything he created and didn’t allowed man to perish through His only begotten son, Jesus' Christ and sent the Holy Spirit (Comforter) through the love He has for man.
He further defined love as the conduct and character of someone to other, stating that love is the greatest, love never rebels against the law, love never gossip or show pride neither steal or envy but love is patient, gentle, truthful, respectful, humble and so on.
The Cleric charges Christians to reciprocate the love of God to each other like of the prodigal son and his father.
