The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode has described the appointment of Pastor M.O Yussuf as the Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region as an act of God.
He made this comment today Sunday June 17, 2018 at the inauguration service of Akinyele Region (which comprises of Lagos and Ogun state) and induction of Pastor Yusuff as the pioneer Regional Superintendent.
Governor Ambode who was represented by his Special Adviser on Religious Matters, Rev. Dr. Verralls Kolawole quoted part of John chapter 3 vs. 27 which says " a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven."
He felicitated with Pastor Yusuff on his induction as the pioneer Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region while also thanking him for his prayer for Lagos State and Nigeria.
Governor Ambode implored everyone present at the programme to get their Permanent Voters' Card (PVC) and vote during the next year election.
