The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor S.O. Olodele has condemned the wrong singing of the popular CAC song, "Jesu Olomi Iye."



Pastor Oladele said that some people for so many years have adopted their own ways of singing the song by saying "Babalola olomi iye," instead of "Jesu olomi iye."



The General Superintendent noted this while commending CAC Akinyele Regional Choir for rendering the song the way it ought to be rendered yesterday Sunday June 17, 2018 at the inauguration service of Akinyele Region and induction of Pastor M.O. Yusuff as the first Regional Superintendent.



"Some people  have crafted their own way of singing the song. The correct way of singing the song is 'Jesu olomi iye re o, omi iye, iye re oo, omi iye. Mo faramo Olorun Babalola, mo faramo Olorun Aposteli, ona iye yi ye mi o mo faramo Olorun Babalola," Pastor Oladele explained.



According to him,  we are not worshipping Babalola in CAC, rather the God of Babalola, the same Almighty God.
