The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Vineyard of Mercy Districts Coordinating Council, Pastor Anu Ojo has said Christians across the globe need to get back to culture and pattern instituted by Christ and His Apostles.
He also said that we need to rebuild our pillar of good living, the broken walls through which the enemies have crept into the body of Christ.
Pastor Anu Ojo who stated this yesterday Thursday July 19, 2018 while delivering a lecture on the topic “The Outset of Revival on Campus” at the ongoing Academic Summit organized by the youth department of CAC Worldwide further stated that we must first love the Lord above all things, then love ourselves, have the unity of faith, preach Christ crucified and let good works be felt by unbelievers.
The former Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide noted that where there are no pattern, agenda, culture and vision, the people will cast off restraint and then perish.
“This is a call to spiritual awakening. We took for granted what the devil and the world could do with our children, and now we are regretting our indifference to the sings we initially noticed in the life-style of our sons and daughters. But it’s never too late for restoration and revival.”
“In Islam, they have pillars of faith and praying five times a day is one of their pillars of faith. Christians are told to pray without ceasing. Traditionally, Christians have had a pattern of praying every three hours (6am, 9am, 12noon, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 12mid-night and 3am). That means praying at least eight times in a day,” the cleric said.
According to him, the kind of revival we need in this generation is beyond the clapping and singing in services, but humility, prayer, seeking and turning from wickedness.
