Christ Apostolic Church, Christ the King Districts Coordinating Council (DCC), Kubwa Abuja recently held a 3day refreshers course and workers’ seminar.
According to a release obtained by CAC NEWS, signed by CAC Christ the King DCC Publicity Secretary, Pastor S.O Ehinju, the theme of the programme was "Effectiveness in my Service to God."
Pastor Ehinju stated that;"we bless the name of the Lord for the success of this year annual refreshers course and workers’ seminar held at the DCC H/Qtrs with the theme “EFFECTIVENESS IN MY SERVICE TO GOD” under the leadership of Pastor David O. Oladipo, the acting DCC Superintendent.
"The seminar was anchored by the acting DCC Superintendent. In his welcome address, he charged the participants to be effective and impactful in the area of their jurisdiction."
"The first two days was attended by all the ministers in the DCC only. The first lecture was delivered by the acting DCC Superintendent titled “Personal Decorum And Self-Education Of A Pastor”, where he expantiate on the meaning of decorum, i.e, to be dignified, with good behaviour and socially acceptable as expected of every pastor who wants to be effective in the spiritual task. Our message must be centred on Christ."
"The second lecture titled “Godly Communication in Christian Home” was attended by the DCC Ministers and their wives. The following outline were discussed: (i) The spiritual impact of communication (ii) Principles of effective communication in marriage."
"The third lecture day was attended by all the workers in DCC and was titled “Commitment Of A Church Leader/ Worker” followed by questions and answer section.
The lectures were real eye opener for all and sundry.
The seminar was rounded up with prayers and benediction by the acting DCC Superintendent."
