The peace and reconciliation move of the leaders of Christ Apostolic Church two factions (General Executive Council and Supreme Council) received another boast today Thursday August 9, 2018 when the youth leaders of the Supreme Council paid a visit to the ongoing joint national youth conference in Babalola Region.
The Supreme Council delegate was led by their Youth Officer,
Pastor (Dr.) J.D. Onagwa.
Pastor Onagwa said that "our generation will not fight. We are for the reconciliation and peace of the church. I told Pastor Joe Jacobs that our generation will not fight. CAC must be one again."
"The crisis didn't start in our generation. It is only one person that is alive among those who started the crisis. We are for the unity of the church and that is why we are here."
The Youth Officer of the General Executive Council, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro in his response said that their prayers is that God should perfect everything He has started.
Pastor Gbuyiro said that life is not about the past, but about the present and the future, adding that "We are happy about what is happening in our generation. It is a great honour to be part of those who will bring peace to the church. We will see more of God in our church. He will fulfill His promise as He has told our forefathers."
It must be noted that the ongoing conference in Babalola Region, Odo Owa involves youths from both factions.
