A renowned family coach and President of Living Home Foundation, Pastor Bisi Adewale has urged singles to seek to know Jesus Christ who he said will reveal their life partners to them, rather than looking for life partners without knowing Christ.
Pastor Bisi Adewale stated this on Sunday August 26, 2018 while ministering on a topic “Building a Stronger Family” at the Men Anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church, New Covenant Assembly, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos.
He said as singles it is when you abide in Christ that He will choose your life partner for you.
The Cleric said that Jesus is the light of the world and it is through Him you can find the right partner, adding that singles should seek to know Him.
He advised singles not to marry carnally, stating that if they marry carnally they will go for the container, not the content.
Pastor Bisi Adewale also said no husband can love his wife if such husband does not abide in Christ, adding that submission to someone’s husband is difficult for anyone who does not abide in Christ.
“It is not a natural man that can love the way Christ loves the church. It is not a natural woman that can be submissive because every human being is selfish. As a wife it is the spirit of God in you that will make you to be submissive to your husband even when you are right. The natural thing is to resist, but supernatural thing is to be submissive. When there is no fruit of the spirit at home, marriage will be very difficult and you can’t bear fruits without abiding in Christ. Abiding in Christ is the first philosophy of marriage,” he explained.
“The more you depart from God, the more you work in darkness. As a husband, the more you move closer to Christ, the more intimacy you will enjoy between you and your wife. When the husband and wife have intimacy with God, there will be intimacy between them,” he explained.
