The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide Pastor S.O. Oladele has said that Nigerian church needs to go back to the basis of holiness which he said has been taken away from the 21st century church.
Pastor Oladele who urged Ministers of God to go back to preaching of holiness said there is zero tolerance for holiness in majority of churches in the country.
The General Superintendent stated this on Friday September 7, 2018 while ministering on the topic "The Role of Church Ministers in the last Days" at the 2018 National Convention of Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN) in Lagos.
He told Ministers of God present at the convention to shun preaching psychological and philosophical messages, but must preach the true word of God.
The 21st century church according to him must go back to the basis of teaching the raw word of God.
"We live in the age where the word of God is being flogged away by this day pentecostal preachers. The church needs to return to the basis of preaching repentance. As a minister of God you must be able to preach repentance without being afraid or at the detriment of anything. Let the big personalities in your church know they need to repent of their sins," he stated.
Pastor Oladele stressed that today's believers must go back to the gospel of the blood.
He further stated that "believers of today want bloodless gospel. The gospel that will not correct or rebuke them."
