It was festival of inspirational and powerful songs when the
zonal choir of Christ Apostolic Church, Grace Tabernacle zone, Ijeshatedo,
Surulere Lagos held the 2018 edition of her annual choir concert.
The theme of the concert which
was held on Sunday October 4, 2018 is “A Life Service to God.”
The choir in their colorful and
beautiful attire performed songs like “Holy Spirit Come” by Hall Hopson, Jesu A
ko o yo (Soprano)- Soloist, Bolu Ogungbenjo-By Segun Akinloye, “Messiah is the
King of kings” by Tunji Ogunnoiki, “Olo Re ofe ni Jesu”, “Kini Ayo Re”, “Ka jijo ka yo” by Tolu
Oluwabusoye and “Oluwa to mi wo” among others.
While preaching on the theme of
the concert, the guest minister Pastor Tunde Asokeji said from the beginning of
the Bible to the end, God’s intention is for us to serve Him, stating that it
is mandatory to serve God.
Pastor Asokeji who is the
Convener of “The Male Voices of Praise International” said as believers, we are
supposed to be good service to our brethren.
According to him, you may have
been a Christian for many years, but God still demands from you to rededicate yourself
to Him in service.
