The President of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun and wife were the special guests of honour on Sunday November 12, 2018 when CAC Ile Anu, Ibudo Isinmi, Oke Baale area, Osogbo celebrated 10 years anniversary.
The occasion which was also graced by the DCC Superintendent of Osogbo DCC, Pastor G.O. Obiwale was indeed a celebration of God's faithfulness.
Pastor Obiwale ministered on the theme of the anniversary which is Divine Enlargement.
CAC NEWS gathered that CAC Ile Anu was divinely prophesied through the mouth of two different prophets (a female and a male) at different time to CAC President, Pastor Akinosun.
Initially Pastor Akinosun nearly rejected the message not until God miraculously confirmed the message to be a divine one.The building was completed even before the first Sunday service took place.
We learnt that the rigorous prayer effort of Mama Akinosun from February 2008 ignited the fire of revival with rugged evangelism and gospel film show in the environment densely populated by non Christians.
The first minister in charge (a church teacher) was the first to be ordained in 2010 (during CAC pastoral ordination of that time) while serving in the church.
It was gathered that the church initially could not cater for the minister's salary, but thank God for the life of Pastor Akinosun who was personally paying it. Today, the assembly has two full time pastors overseeing her affairs.
It must be noted that since inception till date, Pastor Akinosun had never requested for any financial gain of the church because he believed it was not established for feeding purposes.
The assembly is incredibly increasing in leaps and bounds since November 2008 revival. The assembly which held her first Sunday service on 21st of December 2008 with one Pastor P. O. Adams being the first preacher preaching from Mark 3:13-19, is today expanded to the extent of having a new building project which was on Thursday 8th November, 2018 had the foundation laying service conducted by Pastor Obiwale.
