Christians all over the world have been urged to use Christmas period to evangelise the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and bring souls to repentance.
The Assistant Chaplain, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Pastor Isaac Olutimehin stated this in his Christmas message.
He said that the best way to celebrate Christmas is to evangelize the sweetness in Christ and invite others to join.
He further stated that our actions as Christians must portray love of Christ and selflessness.
According to him, Christmas is worth celebrating because it is a celebration of memory of the birth of our redeemer, adding that through Jesus Christ many have been saved from the shackles and bondages of satan.
Pastor Olutimehin said the purpose of celebrating Christmas is simply to thank God for saving us from sin by sending our Messiah.
