It was a day
of unlimited joy on Saturday January 26, 2019 when Oluwabukola Victoria was joined
with her long-time sweetheart, Theophilus Ayodeji at Vine Branch Church,
Mokola, Ibadan Oyo state.
Theophilus
Ayodeji who is a son of the Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church,
Saje Zone, Abeokuta, Pastor Emmanuel O. Adeleke was overwhelmed with joy having
seen his long-time dream coming to reality.
While preaching
on the topic “Understanding the Institution of Marriage,” Pastor Pat Ajufo said
marriage is the only institution where you will get the certificate from the
beginning, unlike other institutions.
He told the
couple that the blessing of God is assured in their marriage if they can be in
one accord, urging them to always come back to God who is the author of marriage.
“Everything
you need to have exceptional marriage has been granted to you. Always remember
God has been you. When you understand that God has blessed you, you won’t be frustrated,”
he stated.
Pastor Ajufo
appealed to the spouse not to allow anything be a substitute to the love they
have for each other.
“God made
man and woman and give each person a position to occupy in a marriage. It is
mandatory for the wife to be submissive to the husband, while the husband must
love the wife. As husband, you must love your wife the way Christ love the
church. If you love your wife, she can do anything for
you,” he noted.
The memory
of the wedding reception, held at All Saints Chapel, CAC General Secretariat,
would continue to register in the minds of people for a long time.
