The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide on Sunday March 31st, 2019 inducted Pastor Matthew A. Alabi as the new DCC Superintendent of CAC Okene Districts Coordinating Council (DCC), Okene, Kogi state.
The church authority was represented by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Babajide Region, Pastor M.A. Ogundeji who anchored the induction service.
CAC NEWS gathered that the occasion was graced by ministers draws both from in and outside Kogi State. In attendance were the DCC Superintendent of Kabba DCC and Wife; Pastor/Mrs. Oyeyemi, Afemai DCC Superintendent was ably represented by Wife; Mrs. Tafida and the Coordinator of CACTS Kabba Campus; Pastor M.A. Abe among others.
The Event was Anchored by Prophet Olusegun McGeorge Amos Jr. The Opening Prayer said by Kabba DCC Superintendent; Pastor Oyeyemi. After the Bible Reading, the Welcome Speech was taken by the DCC Secretary; Pastor(D/S). Emmanuel I.D Yusuf.
While preaching at the programme, the Regional Superintendent of CAC Babajide Region, Pastor Ogundeji said that as Christians we ought to love each other as Jesus loves us that made Him to die on the cross of calvary.
He stated further that the Okene DCC should show unconditional love to their new Superintendent and his family, and also be obedient to him.
He also said that according to 1John 2:10, love is a sign that anyone is walking in light and not in darkness.
"We cannot separate love from light, and love and sin cannot move together therefore we need to run away from sin and also have a change of heart from sin like hatred, adultery fornication and many others in order to please God. We should not be a stumbling block to our fellows. A true child of God will dress modestly and will not open his/her nakedness. When there is love it won't be difficult for the rich to bless the poor. When you are doing that, God will repay you," Pastor Ogundeji stated.
He admonished the newly inducted Superintendent to love everybody in the DCC without discrimination.
After the message, Pastor Ogundeji prayed that God will give everyone present at the programme the spirit of love.
The Mass Choir of Ebira were available to add more glamour to the occasion as they thrilled the congregation with their melodious songs.
