We need to know that, every leader’s potential is determined by the people closest to him. If those people around you are strong, then you can make a great impact, but if they are weak, you can’t.We read of experienced warriors with a variety of skills flooded to David just as we have you around us today. With the help of these men, David was ready for anything and he was able to reach the highest level of leadership," says the Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro.
The Youth Officer who stated this on Tuesday April 6, 2019 at the "2019 National Leadership Retreat" organised by CACYOF national charged the regional leaders to demonstrate a high level or integrity, faithfulness and accountability as it is required of Christian leaders on money matters.
Pastor Gbuyiro reemphasized on the need for the leaders to stand strong and take the best advantage of their privilege positions to run with the heavenly vision in building a dynamic, powerful and efficient body of fellowship that can be proud of, having measured up to God's next/future agenda.
"We must all at this junction take responsibility to live up to the task of fulfilling god’s mandates having seen ourselves in the light of the scripture, that, we are god’s battle axe designed, empowered and trusted to break in pieces the power and nature of sin and to destroy satanic kingdom through youth ministry in this end-time.The youth ministry today calls for spirit-filled men and women who understand the time and know what we ought to be doing like the children of Issachar of old," the Cleric said.
According to him, never in history has the world of youth been polluted with satanic activities as it is now, saying that many are subjected to occultism, magic, witchcraft, fortune telling, drug addiction, delinquency, rebellion and immorality.
He further stated that the power of God is needed to stem this tide and rescue the multitudes of misguided and misdirected youths from eternal damnation.
The ministry of saving the youths, according to the Youth Officer is a great task that must be accomplished, adding that with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit (act 1:8) possibilities are unlimited.
"Brethren, we can only be made strong by God through the support we receive from you.When God wants a leader to do something of eternal value for him, he provides that leader with people of integrity and unbeatable passion to get the job done. This is true in our case as we have great people like you around us as members of the inner circle."
"Therefore, having you as team members becomes expedient if visible progress and tangible achievement will be recorded by this leadership. Working with you as members of our inner circle, we are very optimistic that we shall be able to achieve more than what we could achieve alone, find possible solution to all problems and challenges facing the fellowship and perform excellently well as you will not fail in your own responsibilities, but we will jointly pursue God’s purpose for this fellowship and perform his pleasure," Pastor Gbuyiro stated.
