The long awaited inauguration service of Salvation and True Worship Ministry (SATWOM), was eventually held on Saturday April 6, 2019.
The well attended inauguration service which had in attendance Pastor J.A. Adelakun, popularly known as "Ayewa" was held at Christ Apostolic Church, Life and Power Zonal headquarters, Odonla Ikorodu. Bro. Israel Oladapo, the son of the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo is the President of the ministry which is determined to be an instrument for end time revival.
SATWOM is a non-denominational worship ministry conceived by the leading of the Holy Spirit in the year 2014; to extend and expand the Kingdom of God here on earth through music, conferences and retreats, youth empowerment programmes, rehabilitation, the great commission and true worship.
The vision under the leadership of visioneer, Bro. Israel Oladapo who doubles as the President has gone through phases of growth and development which has brought the ministry to lime light.
SATWOM's vision statement is to extend and expand the Kingdom of God here on earth, while her mission is to actualize God's desired generation who shares true love and offers true Worship.
Pastor Adelakun while praying for SATWOM to fulfill divine mandate and be fruitful, urged them to let prayer be their foundation and shouldn't discriminate.
He noted that the President of the ministry, Bro. Israel Oladapo is his grandson and he loves him so much, noting that he called him Okanlawon.
According to him, Israel Oladapo who he said would be greater than him received God's grace, noting that grace means something without labour.
He urged SATWOM not to be like some music ministries of this day, charging them to fulfill divine mandate.
Also speaking at the inauguration programme, the Dean of Student Affairs, LIFE Theology Seminary Ikorodu, Rev. (Mrs.) C. A. Osibanjo who was the mother of the day commended Bro. Israel Oladapo for taking the bold step to start SATWOM.
She noted that everybody at the
Seminary this day want to be at the pulpit, meanwhile everyone has his or her own area of calling.
She noted that she envied Music Ministry because it is a ministry that continues in heaven.
