It was a celebration of 11years of working for God and walking with Him at the 11th anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church, Ogo-Oluwatan Zone, Sagamu Ogun state.
The anniversary with the theme “Working Together for God” was held on Sunday June 9, 2019. The celebration also marked the third year of annual Shiloh programme.
Pastor S.B Olaiya, from CAC Bethel, G.R.A Sagamu in his teaching on "Working Together for God" emphasized on the place of salvation in working for God.
He said: “before a man can work for God, he must be somebody that has surrendered his life totally to the lordship of our Lord Jesus Christ. You can't answer the call of somebody you don't love. Before you can work for God you must love Him with the whole of your heart."
Pastor Olaiya during an interview with our correspondent said “tribulations can never end in this world until Christ returns. The only thing that can help Christians love God during trial and tribulation is God's love and tolerance”.
Urging every member of CAC worldwide, Pastor Olaiya said: “whatever we may be passing through, we should hold on to our faith in Christ, not letting the tribulations of this world weight us down. God has assured us that we shall face tribulations in the world, but be happy, God has conquered the world for those that trust in Him”.
