It was a reward of dedicated and sacrificial service in God's vineyard at the send forth service of immediate past National Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Joe Jacobs.
The send forth service which was held during the just concluded 2019 National Youth Conference of CAC Akinyele Region, Ikeji III was organized by Youth Fellowship of the church.
Pastor Joe Jacobs was the National Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide for 14 years and 7 months, that is, from June 1st 2003 to December 31st, 2017.
The incumbent National Youth Officer, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro said the Youth Fellowship is celebrating God's faithfulness and goodness.
He noted that Pastor Joe Jacobs is not only a blessing to Christ Apostolic Church, but the body of Christ at large.
"We are appreciating God to have this man of God who have touched many lives and still touching lives. We thank God for the great development youth department of Christ Apostolic Church experienced when he was in office. We can boastfully say that today the scripture is being fulfilled," says Pastor Gbuyiro.
The send forth service organising committee chairman who is also the Zonal Superintendent of Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo noted that the impact of Pastor Joe Jacobs in youth department remains indelible in the history of the department and church as a whole.
He further stated that Pastor Joe Jacobs throughout his tenure proved himself as a minister of God of proven integrity, illustrious advocate of holiness,true ambassador of Christ as well as a defender of the spiritual legacies of the fathers of CAC.
"We acknowledged you as a quite unassuming disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are an erudite scholar, a consistent and eloquent apologist of spiritual apostolicity. You're a season church administrator, a pungent preacher, fearless soldier in the army of Christ Jesus, a husband of only one wife in the person of Evangelist (Mrs.) 'Funmi Lizzy Jacobs," the Cleric noted.
Part of the achievements of Pastor Joe Jacobs while in office as the Youth Officer according to Pastor Oladapo are uniting the Youths and elites of the church in all round growth and development, grooming of leaders through leadership training and empowerment, and establishment of sisters' fellowship, corpers' fellowship and resurrection of the fellowship in some campuses.
"The entire youth witnessed geometrical growth and expansion during your tenure. The fellowship, as a result of explosive population, witnessed decentralization of our conferences into centres during your administration and before you handed over the baton of leadership of the department, as a result of your passion to provide conducive accommodation for campers and conferees at Babalola International Memorial Miracle Cmap, Ikeji-Arakeji, you initiated the ongoing youth building project upon which we are building today," Pastor Oladapo said.
Pastor Joe Jacobs while speaking said he returns all the glory to God and also acknowledged the contributions of youth leaders who worked with him.
The Cleric advised leaders of the youth fellowship at all levels to be loyal to God, saying that loyalty to God will make Him to stay even when people live.
He also urged youth leaders to be faithful to the leadership of Christ Apostolic church
The spiritual giant appreciated God that no youth die at the Ikeji Conference centre while he was in office as the Youth Officer.
