Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, has unveiled plans for year 2020 pastoral ordination and one year compulsory training for prospective candidates.
According to a circular signed by the General Secretary of the mission, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, there will be one year compulsory training programme for prospective Pastors to be ordained in CAC Worldwide at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state.
The General Secretary stated that five candidates are allocated for every Districts’ Coordinating Council (DCC), while three candidates are allocated for each Zone.
Information on the fees payable by each candidate is included in the circular which will be sent to all Regional Superintendents, zones and DCCs in the country.
Pastor Mapur said all candidates are to go through screening which is scheduled to hold at Babalola Memorial Int'l Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State by 9am on daily basis.
The screening will start on Monday November 11, 2019 with prospective candidates from Odubanjo and Babajide Regions.
Tuesday November 12, 2019 will be the turn of Akinyele Region.
Also, for those from Medaiyese and Adelaja Regions, it will hold on Wednesday November 13, while Babalola Region screening holds on Thursday November 14, 2019.
Pastor Mapur also noted that candidates from Hanson, Odusona and Olutimehin Regions, Education Department and General Secretariat will face screening on Friday November 15, 2019.
The Cleric stated further that prospective candidates must pass the following qualifications: “ordination shall be by recommendation or vacancy and the ability to absorb candidates for not less than five years after ordination. The candidate should have three years field experience after graduation from the Bible school or seminary. The candidate shall be happily married with church wedding evidence. He shall be 25 years old and above. He must have attended the seminary recognized by Christ Apostolic Church which are CACTS Ile-Ife, CINDICO, ECWA, UMTC and Life Bible College.”
Regions, DCCs, Zones and Special Districts were directed to submit names of prospective candidates for the training programme from Wednesday September 18th and it closes on Friday October 30th, 2019.
The compulsory one year training commences in the third week of January, 2020.
