The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has said that access to God is the best thing that anybody can enjoy in life, urging believers to value access to God more than accumulating assets.
He noted that assets cannot secure the future but access to God can secure the present and the future both on earth and in heaven.
Pastor Gbuyiro who noted this while delivering his closing remarks at the just concluded 2019 National Youth Conference Ikeji II, said devil has no respect for those who have assets, but only respect those who have access to God through Jesus Christ.
He noted that the devil destroyed everything Job had but couldn't destroy or tamper with his access to God.
According to him, anyone living on assets will become proud or arrogant, but when you're living on access to God, you will be humble.
"Irrespective of what you have gathered from God, immediately you separate yourself from Him, you will begin to reduce. Any man living for assets cannot work under the covenant of God in Christ Apostolic Church. This is because the founding fathers of our church cherished access to God more than assets and that is why God used them tremendously during their time and they are still reference points till date. Your assets can't sustain you, but your relationship with God can sustain till eternity," says the Cleric.
The Youth Officer further stated that anyone who desire to reign with Christ should value access ahead of assets, saying that having assets is a product of labour, while gaining access is a product of grace.
He stressed that the greatest blessing anyone can be proud of is access to the throne of God, not accumulation of assets.
