The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has said that most prayer requests thess days are totally against the scripture, noting that the greatest prayer any believer can pray is "Lord, let thy Kingdom come."
He said when we say "Lord, let thy kingdom come" we are praying the heart and yearning of God because He wants His kingdom to reign in all hearts.
Pastor Oladele noted this while delivering his Farewell Message at the 2019 Conference of all Evangelists, Planters, Prophets and Prophetesses of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, on Friday October 18, 2019 at CAC Babalola Memorial International Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
He said the time has come for all Christians to return to the Bible, saying that the Bible is our Court of Appeal.
He added that if anyone said anything, take him or her to our court of appeal which is the Bible.
"Don't be praying that only you should be the glory of your father's house or you alone should be prosperous in your family. This is because even if God answers your prayer, others in your family who don't know Christ can do anything out of jealousy to harm you. Pray that "Lord, let thy kingdom come." Let us always intercede for our Evangelists, Missionaries, Prophets and others in the Christendom," Pastor Oladele said.
He said the chief end of Christianity is not prosperity or healing, but for us to get to the kingdom of God.
