As Nigerians celebrate the 59th anniversary of her independence, lack of truthfulness has been identified as the major hindrance to true freedom of Nigeria.
The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro who stated this at a programme early this morning while ministering on the topic "Platform for Victory" said Nigeria can't get true freedom without the truth.
While making reference to John chapter 8 verse 32 which says "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," Pastor Gbuyiro said before one can get freedom, one must first accept the truth.
He told people at the programme that the only thing that can sustain them in life and also guarantee their eternity is the truth.
According to him, untruthfulness is the major reason Satan put many people in bondages.
He added that "the first truth you must know is who you are in Christ. Also, you must know what He has done for us. The platform for victory is that you know the truth and live in the truth of what Christ has done done for us."
