The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has stated that this generation is suffering from bad Ministers, not bad Church as some people thought.
Pastor Oladele who noted this today at the 21st Convocation of CAC Theological Seminary, Ibadan Campus said there are many people who have forced themselves into the ministry today destroying the work of God.
He told the graduating students that if they think ministry is bread and butter or collecting envelopes they are deceiving themselves, saying that there are problems in the ministry and they need to turn those problems to opportunities.
He said in the olden days there was misconception that the ministry is for dullards, but today there are many celebrity preachers who have made the ministry so lucrative.
Pastor Oladele urged ministers to see opportunities in their problems and not to be seeing the problems alone.
"There are Pastors who always complain to us about the problems in their stations. Even a Pastor who can't manage few people in his assembly wants the authority to transfer him to a cathedral. They never see opportunity where they are. It is only the problems. If truly you have love for the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, there are many opportunities in the ministry," the General Superintendent said.
