The District Superintendent, and Pastor-in-Charge of Christ Apostolic Church Bethel Toronto and Director of Mission, CAC Bethel District of North America, Pastor Amos Dada has urged all Christians to win nations for Christ through effective and fruitful evangelism.
Pastor Dada said this while delivering his welcome address at the recently held International Gathering of Eagles Conference in Toronto.
In his words:"We are commanded to ask God for nations. Commanded to preach to the nations. God is the owner of the nations and wants them to serve him in totality. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” Mk 16:15.
"We are commanded to teach the nations “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Matt 28:19. For a nation to be blessed they need to serve God “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! Psalm 33:12.
"It is only God that can heal the nations of their various woes and calamities. For instance, the crisis of herdsmen and Fulanization and Islamization agenda in Nigeria can better be handled by Jesuslization. Jesus is the healer of nations. “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land”.2 Chr 7:14."
"God does not want war among nations, because it leads to blood shed and populations of hell. “He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide for strong nations far away; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore; Isaiah 2:4. Nations are men. Men make up nations.“And God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.” Gen 35:5.
"To prevent the nations from the judgment and anger of God. “Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord, “for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed. Zephaniah 3:8.You are the agent of change for the nations. “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant”
"God does not intend for anyone to go to hell. “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
The question is why are you in this conference? It is to be informed,engineered,empowered, re-fueled, recharged. Only men of faith can take nations for God. Only changed men, empowered men, charged men can change the world “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” Gen 12:2."
