The Book of Joel chapter 2 verse 28 (nd it shall come to pass afterwards That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions) was fulfilled at the Lagos Citywide Power Crusade organized by Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region.
The scripture was fulfilled from the opening prayer, to the Praise and Worship session led by Akinyele Mass Choir, to the opening hymn, different prayer sessions, songs ministrations by
Akinyele Regional Evangelical Choir, Pastor Titus O. Oyerinde, Lady Evang. Bisi Alawuye-Aluko and many others.
It was also a scripture fulfilling ministration by the General Evangelist of our great mission, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji and Zonal Superintendent of CAC Transfiguration Zone, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi.
Many had unforgettable encounters with the Holy Spirit, some were delivered from long time bondages, while many souls were won into God's kingdom at the programme which was held at National Stadium, Lagos.
There were many scripture fulfilling testimonies at the Crusade. Some people shared testimonies of what God did in their lives as a result of the prayers they prayed at the Centenary Celebration Revival of Akinyele held in same place in 2018.
While ministering on the topic of the programme which is "A New Dawn," the General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji said a new dawn means a new thing and a new life in Christ Jesus.
According to him, the hunger for a new dawn made the forefathers of the church to pray earnestly for revival which God answered by raising Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola whom God used mightily for the 1930 revival that shook the whole country.
Prophet Hezekiah said CAC gave birth to the Pentecostal evangelism other Pentecostal churches are now embracing today.
The General Evangelist stated that if God used the forefathers of CAC to record so many achievements for His glory without media nor publicity in their generation, if we fail in this generation we have no excuse.
Prophet Hezekiah emphatically stated that an angel of God told him that Christ Apostolic Church is not for show, adding that it is a church God planted to cause commotion in the kingdom of darkness and set the captives free for Christ.
Speaking at the programme, the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff implored all DCCs, Zones and Districts in the region to involve greatly in church planting.
He said every DCC and Zone should plant at least one or two assembly/assemblies on a yearly basis, while a district should plant an assembly in every two years.
Also ministering at the programme, the Zonal Superintendent of Transfiguration Zone, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi said a new dawn won't come until there is an aggressive fight with the old things.
Pastor Odejobi also said that what will bring solution to the problems of Nigeria is not changing of government from one political party to another, but departure from the old things such as bribery and corruption, tribalism, nepotism, favoritism etc.
The Cleric who is a member of Management Board of CAC Worldwide said God told him that most Nigerians love only what He gives, not Him the Giver.
According Pastor Odejobi, there are only two things that can bring new dawn which are love of God and fear of God.
The Chairman of the Planning Committee who is also the Chairman of Evangelical and Church Planting Committee of Akinyele Region, Pastor Lawrence O. Akinloye appreciated the Authority of the Church for bringing another spiritual fiesta to the region.
He also commended the General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah and Akinyele Regional Superintendent, Pastor Yusuff for their support towards the success of the programme.
