It was a celebration of God's faithfulness at the 23rd anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church, Pentecostal Chapel, Odokekere, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The anniversary which took place on Sunday 24th November, 2019 at the church auditorium was well attended by people from nooks and crannies of Ikorodu.
The anniversary was themed 'This Same Jesus.' In his address, the Minister in Charge, Pastor I. T Ariyo noted that thousands of years has come and gone, there has never been and there never will be anyone like Jesus, adding that there have been great leaders, psychologists and sociologist, lawyers, doctors, ministers of the gospel, architect, politicians but no one like Jesus.
He further stated that there was no problem too great for Jesus, no regret too burdensome for Him, no failure too difficult for Him to overcome, saying when we couldn't do anything to stop the run away traffic of sin, this same Jesus did, when we couldn't lift ourselves off our sick bed, this same Jesus did.
Pastor Ariyo also advised that: "As we celebrate the 23rd progress of the gospel in Pentecostal, let's retrace our steps back and go to one who is all age solution and way."
In a message titled 'Submitting to the Lordship of Christ', CAC Life & Power Zonal Superintendent, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo said the most important truth in relation to Christian is Jesus is Lord.
The Zonal Superintendent added that submitting to the Lordship of Christ means He is the ruler, comptroller, boss, and master of your whole life.
