Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Temidire, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Sunday December 15, 2019 celebrated her former Good Women Leader, Deaconess Florence Adunni Oludare who vacated the post at age 75 after almost 40 years of sacrificial service.
She was celebrated by the Church and given Meritorious Service Award which she received with thanksgiving as she also celebrated 75th birthday in grand styles as the church appointed Mrs. O. Y. Soremi as the new Good Women Leader.
The Assembly Pastor of CAC Oke-Temidire, Pastor Samuel Kolawole Oladoja in his sermon titled "WORKING TO PLEASE GOD" said God created man for the purpose of serving Him.
He noted that God created Adam and put him in charge of the garden of Eden to keep it, saying the Church is today's garden of Eden, so keepers must watch carefully in order to please God.
Pastor Oladoja noted that the worship that would be acceptable to God must be from a holy life and God always compensates those who sincerely serve Him.
