Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Testimony has held a celebration thanksgiving service to crown the one-week citywide crusade tagged The Almighty God.
The celebrations thanksgiving service is the 21st anniversary of the church. It was held yesterday 8th December, 2019 in the church Auditorium in Ebute-Metta, Lagos where ministers of God came from all over to rejoice with them.
In his Welcome Address, the Senior Pastor, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde noted that the church's 21st anniversary celebrations started with the annual open air crusade with the theme -The Almighty God, saying this theme was adopted some 17 years go when they staged two open air crusades on Babani Street, Apapa Road for two years consecutively.
He further stated that "coming into this environment (Ebute-Metta) in 2006, it was an occult charged, idolatry atmosphere with the evil compliments of hardened criminals rampaging the space."
According to him, their experience is like re-living the Bible days when God practically stepped into the dire situations of the Israelites and gave them swift victories.
"The day is getting better as idolatrous and occultic activities have significantly dissipated. The campaign for Jesus in Ilogbo, Ebute Metta and beyond is a command performance. 'Occupy Till I Come' Luke 19:13 is the Lord's command; and as faithful servants and sons, we shall consistently do exactly that as the Lord continues to grant us more grace," he said.
The DCC Superintendent of Vineyard of Mercy DCC, Pastor Anu Ojo who was the guest minister said said the Almightiness of God is what He is able to do, adding that there is nothing you put to God that God cannot contain or accommodate.
He emphasised that God wants us to keep asking and ask with faith that there is nothing He cannot do.

The man of God who was preaching on The Almighty God revealed that the Almightiness of God is what He is able to do and there is nothing you put to God that He cannot contain or accommodate.
He reiterated that there is nothing God cannot give to you, encouraging believers to ask God anything.
Pastor Ojo ended his message with prophetic declarations upon people's lives.
Other activities at the anniversary include song ministration by Lady Evang. Yinka Alaseyori and her band, Special renditions by the church choir, Testimony Voices, Bible Reading by Lady Evang. Ruth Babatunde, special number by the Good Women Choir, Prophetic Utterance and Blessings, Special welcome for the converts during the five-day crusade, among others.
Ministers present include Zonal Superintendent of Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo and wife, District Superintendent of Pentecostal District, Pastor I.T Ariyo, Pastor Moses Dada, Minister in Charge of CAC Eternal Praise Assembly, Pastor Olu Olorunpomi, Pastor Jide Akinte, Pator Yinka Fayemi, Pastor James Alao, Pastor Ben Okom, Lady Evang. Ruth Babatunde, Evang. Kunle Idowu Peter and Evang. Olnrewaju Oluwaseun.
