CAC Worldwide holds seminar for wives of would-be Pastors

In a bid to empower them ahead of the future responsibilities, authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, on Monday December 9, 2019 held a seminar for wives of would-be Pastors.


The seminar was held at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State for wives of Pastors who have gone through the training programme the authority organized for would-be Pastors which started in April this year and ended last month.



About 2000 wives of would-be Pastors were in attendance with their husbands.



While ministering at the programme, the Chairman, Logistics, 2019 Pastoral Training Programme, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun, said there is dignity and respect in being a Pastor's wife.



He noted that being a Pastor's wife is a calling and no woman can just wake up one day and say she wants to go and marry a man of God, noting that God Himself must have arranged and ordained it for her and if she does it without God, she will have herself to blame because the protection of God will not be there.



Pastor Oladokun who is the DCC Superintendent of Itire Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos, said to be a Pastor's wife is to thoroughly be a helper, an assistant, adviser and somebody the husband (Pastor) can lean on in times of persecution and trial.



Also ministering at the seminar,
Chairman of 2019 Ordination Training Committee, Pastor E.S. Famuyide told the about to be ordained Pastors to go with their wives and children if they want to go far in the ministry, but if they want to go fast they should go alone.



He noted that no man owns the ministry, God is the owner and he can replace anyone at anytime, telling the would-be Pastors that their first ministry is their home.



Pastor Famuyide who is the DCC Superintendent of Ayetoro DCC, Osun State, said God called  Prophet Eli but he ended his ministry with curse from God because of his failure at home.



The Cleric told the would-be Pastors that the church of God is not their property, but their homes.



Activities that precede 2019 ordination of new Pastors continue today Tuesday December 10, 2019 with a banquet service and final screening for would-be Pastors.
