The Zonal Superintendent of CAC Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo has warned that the position of Christ in the heart of every Christian should not be one corner but the center of their heart.
He made this call recently during the 23rd anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church, Pentecostal District Headquarters, Odokekere, Ikorodu Lagos.
Pastor Oladapo who was preaching on the topic "Submitting to the Lordship of Christ" stated that submitting to the Lordship of Christ means Christ is the Ruler, Controller, Boss, and Master of your whole life.
He further noted that the most important truth in relation to a Christian is Jesus is Lord, adding that it is a thing to accept Jesus as your Saviour and another thing to accept Him as your Lord.
Speaking on the implications of submitting to the Lordship of Christ, he disclosed that absolute and total ownership, unquestioning obedience, wholehearted service, implicit trust and having power to give reward are the implications.
"You must glorify God with your life and body. If he is Lord of your life, whatever he says you will do. Wherever He says we should go is where we should go. You cannot speak of Him as Lord and disobey Him. If Christ is the Lord of your life, whatever He permits, you have to accept. Anything He asks you to do, carry it out," he said.
The cleric concluded his message by encouraging people with hymn 735 from CAC Gospel Hymn book.
