The Senior Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Testimony, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde, has noted that every child of God should know that he or she is a mighty tool in the hand of God empowered to destroy the work of the devil.
He noted that when Jesus Christ is in you, you will enter the darkness and conquer for God's glory.
Pastor Babatunde noted this on Tuesday December 3, 2019 while ministering at an early morning programme in the church which is part of activities lined up for the ongoing Almighty God Crusade.
The Cleric also said that Satan is not everywhere, but he has representatives everywhere who are harrassing the church of God, stating that this is because many churches these days are powerless.
While emphasizing on reasons many churches are powerless, Pastor Babatunde who is the Coordinator of CACYOF Akinyele Region stated that they are powerless due to distraction, politicking, lack of focus and some other things.
He however said that the church of God has been set rolling on the power of the Holy Spirit and the kingdom of hell irrespective of its harassment cannot conquer the church.
Using CAC Chapel of Testimony as an example, Pastor Babatunde said the kingdom of darkness in the environment the church resides has been torn apart.
It would be recalled that in an interview with CAC NEWS, Pastor Babatunde said the Lord told him specifically that He sent him to the environment to break the yoke of darkness occasioned by occultic presence.
He further explained that "there are so many shrines and occultic Islamic clerics in this environment and we never knew until we got here, but the Lord has proved Himself gradually and consistently. He has proved Himself like the God of the Bible in this environment. The louder the campaign for God’s Kingdom, the better for the sanitization of this environment and deliverance of those who are in captivity for the Kingdom of God."
"The environment was formally not attractive, but the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ has made it very attractive. There was a time that Okada riders and tricycle riders don’t come to this place because of the occultic gangsterism in this environment. We thank God that the gospel of Christ has neutralized them to a very large extent. Numerically we thank God. It has affected the church positively."
