President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun, has urged world  leaders to seek the face of God in solving various challenges facing them globally.

Pastor Akinosun, who was one of the awardees, said this during the maiden edition of Nigerian Association of Church History and Missionlogical Studies  (NACHAMS) and Fellowship Award/Induction ceremony of NACHAMS, at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

“CAC, being one of the early churches in Nigeria, is well-known for its radical evangelism. We are urged to continue in that direction. It is hard time to follow Christ so as to be saved and we thank God for allowing us to be one of  such  churches,” he said.

While saying that missionary work is very challenging, he commended the management of the university and the Department of Christian Religious Studies, adding that the university had produced reputable world-class scholars in various areas of specialisation in religious studies.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Idowu Olayinka, speaking through the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Professor Adebola Ekanola, said it is worthy of note that University of Ibadan had produced notable clerics who had made their marks in missionary activities globally and urged the clerics to continue to pray for the university and the nation.
