The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, prayed for the peace and progress of Nigeria and Oyo State in 2020 at the New Year welcome service organized for the staff of her General Secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The programme which was held at “All Saints Chapel” was organized to appreciate God for successful 2019 and seek His face ahead of 2020 endeavours, pray for the church, Nigeria and Oyo State, etc.
General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji led the prayer session of the programme which had in attendance other Principal Officers of the Church.
While delivering the presidential charge on the topic "Eyes Opened", the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun said the natural eyes are blind to heavenly things saying that God is everywhere, yet, natural eyes see Him not.
He said if man has to fulfill what God created him for, he has to rely on God.
Pastor Akinosun noted that man cannot see vanity in the world because he is blind.
According to him, faculty of spiritual thinking is dead in the life of a sinner because he is not spiritually discerning.
Pastor Akinosun urged General Secretariat staff not to celebrate past glories, saying their present position needed more site.
The service was also attended by some DCC and Zonal Superintendents which include Vineyard of Mercy DCC Superintendent, Pastor Anu Ojo, Yaba DCC Superintendent, Pastor S.E.A. Oludare, Zonal Superintendent of Orinsun-Ife Zone, Pastor J. Olu Makinwa, Zonal Superintendent of Ogudu Zone, Pastor Titus Oyerinde and many others. Other notable ministers in attendance are Prophet Olu Alo, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo, Pastor CAS Daramola and many others.
