Run from sin like leprosy, Prophet Abiara tells Nigerians

Former General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Prophet Samuel K. Abiara, has asked Nigerians to run from sin like leprosy.

The cleric stated this in his New Year message to Nigerians.

According to him, leprosy is a contagious disease that affects the skin , mucous , membranes and nerves , causing discoloration and lumps on the skin and several disfigurement and deformities.

Prophet Abiara noted that more than 200,000 leprosy cases were recorded each year globally, while three million people were living with irreversible disabilities , including blindness because of leprosy.

“What is my message to you? Leprosy is simply like sin. Sin is a dangerous spiritual disease and if care is not taken, sin can kill and send you to hell.That is why I encourage you to run for your life , drop that sin and come to Jesus before it is too late for you."

“Sin is very dangerous . If you are living in sin , you are like a leprous man in the sight of God. In Israel and all over the world , anyone with leprosy is not allowed to live with others ; he or she is sent away to live in the bush ,” the cleric said.

While quoting from different Scriptural passages, Prophet Abiara said the only way of escape for sinners was to repent and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation .
