The retired and former DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Itire Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor Michael Adebayo Adeoye has said that the best thing anyone can have in life is Jesus Christ.
Pastor Adeoye noted this on Sunday February 9, 2020 at "Echoes From the Past" programme organised by CAC Pentecostal District Headquarters, Odokekere, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The living legend while answering questions from a panel of interviewers at the programme said he was born into a Muslim family and his parents were strong Muslims, explained that it was an incident on a particular day that led him to Christ.
Pastor Adeoye who noted that it was God that prepared and ordered him into the Christian faith, stated that God has prepared everyone to have Jesus through whom we have salvation.
According to him, the most terrible person on earth is the person who is ignorant of his ignorance, urging everyone to give their totality to Christ.
The Cleric stated that the present state of the church is caused by ministers of God, saying that many ministers have pictures of Babalola in their churches, but lack the lifestyles of Babalola.
He also said that many whom God has not called have called themselves into the ministry and that is why the church is in the present situation.
While calling for the return of the raw teaching of the word of God, Pastor Adeoye said prophecies have replaced teaching of the word of God.
