It was a day of divine fulfilment when the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Unchangeable Changer District, Lagos, Pastor Oluwaseun Oluwatunmibi was inducted as the Vice President of Gospel Musicians' Association of Nigeria (GOMAN), West.
Pastor Oluwatunmibi was recently inducted at an induction ceremony of GOMAN National Executives held at the Christ Apostolic Church, Adamasingba DCC headquarters, Ibadan.
Others inducted are veteran gospel musician, Evangelist (Mrs.) Funmi Aragbaye, as the National President, Reverend Ekpeyong Bassey Okon as the National Deputy President, H.E Hon Paul Ayodele as the vice President North, H.E Rev Canon Gboyega Babayeju as the General secretary, Prince Flourish O Arowolo as the treasurer, Evang Victor Ariyo Orimolade as the Financial Secretary,
Evangelist Bunmi Bankole as the National P.R.O., H.E Apostle Kolawole Elijah as the Auditor,Lady Evang Stella Adeniyi Ajayi as the Prayer Cord, Evang Tunde Ayodele as the welfare officer l,Evang Tope Ade as the Assistant General Secretary and many others
The association has over the years maintained high standard in its production of gospel songs, and promotion of gospel artistes.
Pastor Oluwatunmibi in an interview with CAC News expressed his happiness for being part of the new national executives of GOMAN.
He disclosed that it was God who ordered him to contest for the Vice President (West) post, appreciating God for the victory.
The Cleric declared his intention to serve God in this capacity, noting that it is an opportunity to serve.
"I'm glad to be elected and inducted as the Vice President (West) of GOHAN. It was God who ordered me to contest for the post of the Vice President and I thank Him for the victory. I am ready to serve God in this new capacity," he said.
Speaking at the event,Dr. Funmi Aragbaye said this will be the best team GOMAN as produced and promised all New members that this new National Executives would be a great mix as new hands are being brought on board to expand and strengthen the relationship among gospel artistes in the country.
