In a move to comply with the new directive of the Lagos State Government which says religious gathering should not be more than 20 people, Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region, has ordered total shutdown of services in all its assemblies in Lagos and Ogun States.
In a circular signed by the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff, all assemblies are to shut down from today Sunday March 22, 2020 in order to obey the new Lagos State directive.
Pastor Yusuff however said, ministers and members of the vicarage should meet to intercede for members, the State, the nation and the world at large, adding that this shall continue until the restriction is lifted.
He advised all assemblies in the region to use all the media channels at their disposal to keep in touch with members for fellowship, to educate on keeping to the hygiene prescriptions of the medical personnel, to build their faith and allay all elements of fear and encourage them to pray more.
"Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. Psalms 91:6-7, 9-11 NLT," Pastor Yusuff concluded.

Where is the power as of old ? God take control
ReplyDeleteGod is the same yesterday today and forever. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. We may not see with our physically eye or hear with our physically ear the great and mighty works performing by God through his servants around the world. But in my spirit signs and wonders are still taking place as in the days of the apostles. There is no distant in prayer.God ear is not heavy that he cannot hear or his hand short he cannot save. Therefore beloved of Christ Jesus let us continue to pray for one another.grace and peace.
