Following the ban on all religious congregational services involving over 50 worshippers in churches and mosques by some State Governments in the country to prevent the further spread of the corona virus pandemic, the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, has postponed the 2020 Sunday School Rally.
A new date will be announced very soon for the Sunday School Rally which was scheduled to hold next week in Ikeji-Arakeji and other centres.
It would be recalled that earlier this week, the authority of the Church directed all Assemblies in Akinyele Region to split services into two, three or more.
The General Secretary of the Church, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, in a letter addressed to the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff stated this that every congregation that is over fifty membership are requested to split their services into two, three or more sessions as the case may be.
He noted that this shall continue until the restriction is lifted.
