Coronavirus: Three days fasting and prayers as directed by God through CAC General Evangelist starts today

A compulsory three days fasting and prayers as directed by God through His servant, the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji for all members of the church and believers across the globe start today Friday March 27, 2020.



The three days fasting and prayers are meant to seek the face of God for mercy for an end to coronavirus epidemic which is claiming lives across the globe on daily basis.


Prophet Hezekiah stated in a  Facebook broadcast on his official page that God said the world should seek His face from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th March, 2020 in fasting and prayers.



The Cleric who noted that without sin there would be no punishment also noted that God said the world should return to Him.


He further stated: "God said He will pass through the earth after the three days of fasting and prayers and there will be heavy downpour across the globe which will wipe away the pestilence."



According to him, coronavirus is pointing to the fact that it is time to seek the face of God.


He stressed that everyone is panicking across the globe and there is no peace anywhere, adding that we need to go back to the fear of God.



While saying that coronavirus is as a result of disobedience to God, Prophet Hezekiah said the finger of God always rises against disobedient nations and can wipe out any city that does not obey His voice.



"It is long God has been warning the whole world. We need to learn a lesson from this present situation and return to God. Let us go and plead with God. Let us cry to God in our closet and God Himself will conquer the pestilence for us," the Cleric stated.



He urged everyone to desist from evil behaviors and allow God's administration in their affairs.


Prophet Hezekiah who commended the Christian Education Department of CAC Worldwide for the choice of this year's Sunday School lesson theme said when God's administration is not allowed in the affairs of man, man's efforts become vanity.



He called on Presidents of nations, Governors of States, Ministers, Senators and other government officials to allow God in their administrations.
