The Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff, has advised Ministers of God to always engage the youth, noting that youths who are not engaged for the Lord will be engaged for Satan.
He said: "the youth of any society is her hope and strength, ditto to the church. When aspersion is cast at the youth, the survival of the church in the future becomes questionable. The youths should constitute the chunk of the evangelical arm of every local assembly, to keep them busy and responsible to God."
He noted that this can be possible by keeping them under guide as spiritual parents, instructing, guiding and directing them adequately, not minding their unwillingness to learn, distraction posed by their environment, entanglements and divergent interests from the biblical standard entirely.
The Cleric made this known while delivering his Goodwill Message at the recently held Leadership Training Programme 2020 organized by CACYOF Akinyele Region.
Pastor Yusuff told the youths that they are the present and future hope of the church, saying that they carry apostolic covenant and have heritage of the power of God to shake their world and enthrone Christ in all sectors of the society and the church at large.
The Cleric further told ministers that "the youth you do not train, you cannot blame. When you fail to chart the course of purpose for young ones, the course of failure chats itself automatically for them. The scriptural wisdom book of Proverbs instructs that we train our young ones in the right way they should go, so they can tread the right way by the right knowledge inculcated into them."
