Coronavirus: Weapons of the world have no answer to present situation, we need Jesus Christ - Pastor Anu Ojo

The DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Vineyard of Mercy Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos, Pastor Anu Ojo has stated that weapons of the world have no answer to the present situation of the world, saying that the world needs Jesus Christ at this time.



He said that the power of science, technology, money and fame cannot answer to the present pandemic that we are experiencing, adding that it is only the power of Jesus that can save the world at this time.



He however said that it is a pity that the body of Christ or the Church of God that the Bible refers to as the salt of the earth and light of the world is not having any effect.



Pastor Anu Ojo stated this while ministering on the topic "Obedience" in a broadcast on the official YouTube channel of Vineyard of Mercy DCC.



While quoting 2Corinthians 10:4 which says "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds," the Cleric stated that coronavirus is a stronghold to which scientific research, economic power and money have no solution.



"The Bible says this stronghold can be demolished by the divine power that is in the weapon given to us as Christians. What we carry as Christians is capable of demolishing stronghold because it is divine power. However, we cannot demolish stronghold, pretence or evil plans (those who purposely planned biological and chemical weapons to destroy others or reduce the population of the earth) if we are not obedient to the mandate of God as those that are called the Light and Salt of the earth," he said.



The former Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide further said that the church is full of disobedience to the word of God, noting that we should be able to punish the disobedience that is in the world when our own obedience is complete, in other words, we cannot punish disobedience with disobedience.



He urged everyone to be obedient to God from now henceforth for us to be able to punish any other disobedience from the world.
