Every Christian home is supposed to be an extension of local church- Cleric

The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Anu District, Apapa DCC, Oworonsoki, Lagos, Pastor S.O. Oludahunsi has said every Christian home is supposed to be an extension of the local church in their respective communities.


Pastor Oludahunsi stated this in his message obtained by CAC News titled "Making Your Home the Lord's Home."


He defined Christian home as any institution comprising of father, mother and children who live together in the same house with the aim of living the life of Christ in all areas of their life .


He further said that a Christian home is where the Holy Spirit is allowed to rule and control, and every work of the flesh is subjected.


According to him, a Christian Home must be ready to share in the suffering and death of Christ (2 Cor. 1;7, 1 Pet.4:13) and must be a redeemed home by the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ.


The Cleric further said a Christian home is a teachable home and it lives by the word of God and fervent in the scripture.


"Jesus Christ is looking for a Christian home that will receive Him into their home, not only to make it a temporary place of worship but a permanent extension of His local place of worship in that community, does your home qualify? If not, make a correction now for the Lord to make your home His home," he stated.
